Volunteer Awards 2013 - At the 2013 volunteers evening the Pilot Station’s grass mowing volunteers, Jerry O’Connor and Doug Owens received an award for their untiring efforts in keeping the station’s grassed areas in an excellent state. Both are retired and give their time freely to assist the Pilot Station Support Group.
2014 - At the 2014 volunteer’s evening our Chairman Peter Cox was awarded the Volunteer of the Year. It was awarded for not only the large amount of work her does for the Museum but also for his efforts with several other organizations such as the Historical Society, Rotary Club, Riverlinks Church and others. Congratulations to Peter.
